Backed up means you can get it back.
Almost everyone says: “We have a backup.” Fewer can say when it was last restored. That's exactly where hope and security part ways. The Backup Monster sets up backups following the 3-2-1 rule: three copies, on two different storage media, one of them off-site. Plus a copy that no ransomware can reach. And then the most important part: we regularly try out whether the data can really be restored.
What you get when the Backup Monster takes over
3-2-1, explained simply
Three copies, two storage types, one off-site – without you having to remember the rule.
Testing instead of hoping
Regular restore test with a log. Only then does a backup count as a backup.
Safe from blackmailers
A copy that ransomware can't reach – disconnected or immutable.
Alerts instead of silence
If a backup fails, we notice – not you, when it's too late.
The restore check
Could you get to yesterday's data tomorrow? Six honest questions.
Question 1 of 6
Is there a regular backup?
Annoyed before. Relaxed after.

What most people want to know
What is the 3-2-1 rule?
Three copies of your data, on two different types of storage, one of them off-site. That way a single fault, fire or theft can't hit everything at once.
Doesn't Microsoft 365 back up my data itself?
The provider makes sure the service runs. But deleted or encrypted data can only be recovered to a limited extent and only for a certain time. Having your own backup therefore makes sense.
How often do you do a restore test?
We agree that with you – usually a spot check every quarter and a full test once a year. Every test is logged.
What's the difference from the Security Monster?
The Security Monster keeps attackers out and cleans up after an incident. The Backup Monster makes sure your data comes back no matter what – even if something goes wrong.
What does it cost?
That depends on the amount of data and the devices. After a free chat you get a fixed price – nothing happens before that.
