The Remote Support MonsterFamilyNetwork & infrastructure

Help from a distance.
Only with your okay.

“Can you take a quick look?” – often that's the fastest way to a solution. But not just anyone should be allowed to look at your screen. The Remote Support Monster only comes in if you open the door: you approve the session, see every click and can end it at any time. Afterwards, the log shows who did what and when. And if someone calls you out of the blue and wants to get onto your computer: hang up. Real help waits for your okay.

I'll take a look from here – but only if you let me in. You see everything I do and can end it at any time.”

Questions

What most people want to know

Can you access my computer without my knowledge?

No. We can't get in without your approval. Unattended access, for example for maintenance at night, only exists if you explicitly agree to it – for specified devices and with a log.

What do the monsters see on my screen?

Whatever is currently open. Before the session, close anything that's none of our business. We only look at what's needed for the solution.

Someone from “support” called me. What should I do?

Hang up. Reputable companies don't call out of the blue to get onto your computer. If someone has already been on it: pull the network cable, turn off the Wi-Fi and call us or the Rapid Response Unit.

What does a remote support session cost?

We bill in 15-minute increments and tell you beforehand what to expect. For teams, there's a fixed monthly price after a conversation.
