The Accessibility MonsterFamilyOnline & visible

Websites for everyone.
And for the BFSG.

Since 28 June 2025, Germany’s Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) applies to many online shops and digital services. But even without the law: a website everyone can use sells better. The Accessibility Monster checks whether you’re affected and gets your site into shape.

Accessibility Act? I'll check whether it affects you and get your site in shape.”

Questions

What most people want to know

Does the BFSG apply to me?

Mainly for services aimed at consumers, such as online shops and bookings. Micro-enterprises providing services are partly exempt. We’ll check that with you.

What happens if I do nothing?

If it applies to you, you face market surveillance measures and legal warnings. Above all, you lose customers who can't use your site.

Is an accessibility plugin enough?

Usually not. Overlays like that rarely fix the actual problems. We improve the site itself.
