The Server MonsterFamilyNetwork & infrastructure

Your own server.
Without your own worries.

It's always somewhere: the server. In the data centre for the shop or software, in the office for files, sometimes in the broom cupboard next to the vacuum cleaner. When it runs, nobody thinks about it – until it stops. The Server Monster keeps it up to date, secure and monitored, schedules updates for quiet times and writes down what runs where. So that not everything depends on what one single person knows.

vServer, managed server or the box in the broom cupboard? I keep it up to date, secure and under watch.”
What's in it for you

What you get when the Server Monster takes over

Someone who keeps watch

Round-the-clock monitoring: we notice full disks, high load or expiring certificates before things go bang.

Updates with a plan

Security updates regularly and at quiet times – with a backup beforehand and a quick test afterwards.

Securely locked

Firewall, keys instead of passwords, separate admin accounts. Only open what has to be open.

Written down

What runs where, who has access, what to do in an emergency – documented in plain language.

Questions

What most people want to know

Do I even need my own server?

Often not. For most websites good hosting is enough, and for files sometimes a cloud in Europe. We'll tell you honestly what fits – even if it isn't a server.

Do you also look after servers with other providers?

Yes. Whether with us, with a big provider or in the office – we take care of it wherever the server is.

When do you do updates?

At agreed times, usually in the evening or at the weekend. There's a backup beforehand and a quick test afterwards.

What does the support cost?

That depends on size and effort. After a free chat you get a fixed monthly price; one-off help is billed in 15-minute increments.
