The Cyber MonsterFamilySafe & secure

Cyber security.
Taken seriously.

Attacks have long since stopped hitting only big companies. It usually starts harmlessly – a genuine-looking email, a stolen password – and then the business grinds to a halt. The Cyber Monster makes sure you're prepared: everyone knows what to do in an emergency, the team spots scam attempts, and questions from insurers or authorities won't make you break a sweat. No scaremongering, step by step.

Emergency plan, alert staff, clear reporting channels – I'll make sure you're prepared. And if something does happen, I'm there.”

Questions

What most people want to know

What's the difference from the Security Monster?

The Security Monster takes care of the tech: backups, updates, malware. The Cyber Monster makes sure your whole business is prepared – plan, team, insurance, authorities. The two often work together.

Does NIS2 affect us?

That depends mainly on industry, size and turnover. We provide a technical assessment and show what the requirements would mean for you. The binding legal review is up to your legal advisers.

We've been attacked. Should we report it to the police?

Often, yes. In every German federal state, the police have a Central Cybercrime Contact Point (ZAC) for businesses. We help secure evidence so that it's usable for the police report and the insurer, and we'll accompany you if you wish.

What do we have to report?

If personal data is affected, usually to the data protection authority within 72 hours. If your company falls under NIS2, reports to the BSI come on top. We explain the channels to you – you decide together with your legal adviser or your data protection officer.

What does it cost?

Emergency plan, training and checks get a fixed price after a free chat. In an acute emergency, we bill by time spent and tell you beforehand what to expect.
