I know absolutely nothing about tech. Am I in the right place?
That's exactly why we're here. You describe what's bothering you – we translate, solve it and explain the result in two sentences.
Aren’t you just a hosting provider?
No. If you need space for your website and emails, we organise that too. But what you buy from us is the solution and the looking-after – not the storage space.
Why are you more expensive than the budget providers?
Because all they contain is storage. Updates, backups, troubleshooting and questions are left to you. With us, exactly that is included – and that’s what you pay for.
What does the monster fire brigade cost?
We bill in 15-minute steps – currently 30 € net per started quarter hour. Before we start, we tell you how much time we expect. Only when you say yes do we get going.
Do you also work for private individuals?
No. We help businesses, freelancers, practices, associations and organisations only.
I'm with another provider. Can you get me out of there?
That's what the Moving Monster does. Website, domains and mailboxes move over – the switch only happens once everything is running.
HostingMixer and prices
Why don’t you show a fixed price in the HostingMixer?
Because there’s no single price. Depending on your needs, a big provider is sometimes cheaper, sometimes our own servers. Domains cost different amounts depending on the ending. You get the exact price after a free conversation.
Do I have to set every slider in the mixer?
No. Just slide what you know. We’ll sort out everything else in a chat.
Do you take on everyone?
No – and that’s good for you. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll say so honestly and recommend someone who suits you better.
What is a gigabyte?
A unit of storage space. 1 GB holds about 250 good photos or around 20.000 normal emails.
Emergencies
My website has been hacked. What now?
Stay calm, don’t delete anything and change passwords from another device. Then call the Rapid Response Unit – we secure the traces, clean everything up and explain what happened.
How fast are you in an emergency?
With “Today”, we get back to you the same day. You get an assessment and a price beforehand.
Do you also do repairs if my website is hosted elsewhere?
Yes. The monster fire brigade goes anywhere – no matter which provider your tech lives with.
Account and privacy
Do I need a password for my account?
No. You sign in with Google or get a 6-digit code by email.
Do you use tracking cookies?
No. We only count statistics with your consent and without cookies. Details are under Law & Order.
Do I get a data processing agreement?
Yes, whenever we process personal data on your behalf – before the contract starts.
